Only Up! is a hardcore platformer all about climbing higher and higher without messing up. It’s not your casual jump-and-run—this game will test your patience because every jump matters, and one slip can send you tumbling back down to the start. No checkpoints, no second chances, just you and a bunch of weird floating platforms stacked in ways that feel like they’re designed to frustrate.



Each jump feels like walking a tightrope. Some platforms hold steady, others tilt the moment you land, and some just don’t seem to want you there at all. The higher you get, the trickier the platforms become—smaller edges, odd angles, and jumps that demand perfect timing. You can’t afford to rush or guess, because even a tiny mistake will cost you everything you’ve climbed so far. That fall hurts, and it hits hard when hours of progress disappear in seconds.



How to Play Only Up!

Controls are basic but unforgiving—run, jump, and try to keep your balance. Your character has momentum, which means stopping or changing direction quickly isn’t always possible. Every move needs to be planned out, and rushing usually ends in disaster. There’s no pause for breath or reset button, so if you fall, you start climbing from where you land or all the way back to the bottom if you’re unlucky.



Speedrunners love Only Up! because mastering the timing and routes can shave off loads of time, but for most players, it’s a game about patience and persistence. You might rage quit a few times, curse the game, or wonder why you even started. But when you finally get a good run and climb higher than ever before, it’s a rush like no other. It’s brutal, it’s frustrating, but it’s also strangely addictive. You either get good or you fall down repeatedly. Simple as that.
